The Union’s 94th Annual General Meeting will be held at the Tom Mann Threatre, 136 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills (approx. 200m south of the Devonshire St tunnel exit from Central Station) commencing at 10.00am on Thursday 25 November.
Notice and details of corresponding Sub-Branch Meetings be distributed to respective Sub-Branch workplaces separately in the week commencing Monday 15 November.

Upon learning of the Union’s notice and instruction issued earlier today, the Department contacted the Union office at approximately 1015 hrs and undertook to immediately:
a) recall firefighters to staff the Bravo appliance at Umina; and
b) rescind the directive dated 19 October that gave rise to this latest dispute.
These undertakings satisfy the Union’s concerns and as such, the instruction issued earlier today is withdrawn.
