Feedback indicates that numerous members found the table in last Friday’s notice ambiguous and/or confusing. This was probably due to the table’s 2nd column being titled “Before the Union’s changes (ie NOW)”, which many took as meaning the total wages earned under the current progression/promotion system and the current wage rates.
