CODE RED – Relieving Station Officers being assigned to Zone Offices

The Department is currently in the process of transferring Relieving Station Officers to MW3 and assigning them to the Katoomba Zone Office. This is done solely so that these members are denied the opportunity to work a roster in line with their counterparts attached to stations, without any additional remuneration. Despite the FBEU’s attempt to work with the Department to reach a resolution, the Department has opted to forge ahead.

This being the case, effective immediately, no Station Officer is to accept or request any transfer to a Relieving position that is assigned to a Zone Office in MW3.

This Code Red remains in place until lifted by the State Secretary.
