Permanent Award

The Crown Employees (Fire and Rescue Permanent Firefighting Staff) Award 2011 (covering permanent firefighter members) was ratified by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission on 3 March 2011, however will not come into effect until 17 June 2011. The Crown Employees (NSW Fire Brigades Permanent Firefighting Staff) Award 2008 will remain in force until then.

The Crown Employees (NSW Fire Brigades Firefighting Staff Death and Disability) Award 2009 (covering permanent and retained firefighter members) was ratified by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission on 1 April 2009, following an application made by the Union and takes effect from 22 March 2009 until 21 March 2011.
