SUB-BRANCH ELECTION NOTICE

Nominations are called from members to fill one of three (3) Committeepersons’ positions upon their respective Sub-Branch Executive Committee for the term 2002-2005, as follows:

Central Coast Sub-Branch
the CCSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within N7

Country Sub-Branch
the CCSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed outside of the GSA, N3, N7 and S3
(3 to be elected, 1 from Region South, 1 from Region North West and 1 from Region North)

Illawarra Sub-Branch
the ISB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within S3

Senior Officers’ Sub-Branch
the SOSB represents all permanent members qualified for or holding Inspector rank, or higher

Newcastle Sub-Branch
the NSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within N3

Retained Sub-Branch
the RSB represents all retained members throughout NSW
(3 to be elected, 1 from Region South, 1 from Region North West and 1 from Region North)

Sydney North Sub-Branch
the SNSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within the “old” Zones N1 or N2

Sydney North West Sub-Branch
the SNWSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within the “old” Zones NW1 and NW2

Sydney South West Sub-Branch
the SSWSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within the “old” Zones SW1 and SW2.

Sydney South Sub-Branch
the SSSB represents all permanent members, other than Senior Officers, stationed within the “old” Zones S1 and S2

\Nominations, which must be in writing and comply with the Union’s Registered Rules, may be made at any time from 8 April 2002. They must reach the Union office not later than 12 noon on 26 April 2002. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after 3 May 2002.

Nomination Forms are available from the Union office. The use of these forms is not compulsory provided that nominations comply with the Rules.

If a ballot is necessary in any Sub-Branch(es) then voting material will be posted 10 May 2002 to members of the relevant Sub-Branch at the address held in the Union’s records. Please notify of any change of address asap. Ballots will close at 5.00 pm on 24 May, 2002.
