Following below are the results of the Union’s triennial elections for Sub-Branch Committeepersons for the term 2002-2005, as declared by the Returning Officer on Thursday 30 May.
The 10 Sub-Branch Secretaries are elected together with the President, Senior Vice-President, Junior Vice-President and State Secretary in a separate ballot of all Union members which is conducted every three years by the Australian Electoral Commission. The next State Committee election is scheduled to be held in the 2nd quarter of 2003.
