“That the draft minutes of the Union’s 101^st Annual General Meeting, held on Tuesday 18 October 2011, as placed on the Union’s internet site prior to this meeting, be received, noted and adopted as a true and correct record of that meeting.”

Meal and refreshments

“That the State Secretary’s report on the Travel and Expenses dispute (regarding the payment of meal and refreshment allowances from petty cash as per Clause 10 and Clause 8 or the Permanent and Retained Awards respectively), and the Department’s proposed Incident Ground Meal Guide, and the ongoing dispute over the inclusion of tea coffee and biscuits as the required Refreshment be received and noted and that the award variations as set out in the document headed ‘Meals and Refreshments proposed Award variations’ and placed on the Union’s internet site prior to this meeting, be received, noted and endorsed in settlement of each of those three disputes.”

Appointment of the Union’s Auditors

“That the accounting firm of Grant Thornton be re-appointed as the Union’s auditors for a further period of two years and until the 2014 Annual General Meeting is held in accordance with Rule 40.”

Appointment of Returning Officer

“That in accordance with Rule 22(1), this meeting appoints Comrade Travis Broadhurst as Returning Officer for the ensuing three years through until the Union’s 2015 Annual General Meeting.”
