FBEU AWARD ARBITRATION SURVEY OF MEMBERS – ALL MEMBERS ASKED TO COMPLETE ASAP
As you are all aware, we are currently in the process of preparing our evidence and submissions for the upcoming arbitration before the IRC for our Award claims.
Our claims are significant and include claims regarding increased wages (including work value & cost of living considerations), health and safety, additional consultation, upgraded and clearer conditions such on topics like overtime and on call allowances amongst many others.
Many of you have already been working with our industrial and legal team providing witnesses statement and evidence in support of the case and I want to take the time to thank all of you who have taken the time and put your name publicly to a statement.
We now need all members to participate by filling out a short survey.
The survey is intended to gather collective information and data to assist us in making collecting the information and evidence we need in support of our claims. It should not take members longer than 10-15 minutes to complete the survey.
Please note it is vital that all members complete this survey. The more information we have from as many members as possible the better we can make our case so please encourage all your crews and any other members to complete the survey also.
The survey does collect some individual and identifiable data and from members however we can assure you that we will not use the responses in any manner where you can be identified without your permission first. We are simply asking for that information so, if necessary, we can verify that the survey responses are from members. It also allows us to reach out to you if we believe you could assist further with the case.
Our evidence is due on 8 October so please note the survey will close Sunday 22 September. Can all members please ensure they complete the survey prior to this date. Delegates please ensure the survey is widely disseminated to members and encourage them to complete the survey.
If members have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Senior Industrial Officer Rini Krouskos at the FBEU office via the usual contact methods.
