CODE RED LIFTED – CAFS Aerial Pumper Safety Issue

Once again, we have brought the Department to the table to address a major health and safety issue, with a work instruction now issued to CAFS Aerial Pumper stations & crews outlining the nature of the safety issue and how to manage it until it is fixed.

Members can view a copy of the instruction here.

As such, the Code Red putting CAFS Aerial Pumpers offline is now lifted.

Thank you to our members who saw the risks the Department was taking and contacted us to get it resolved – no matter the time of day, your safety is always our priority.
