COVER OUR FIRIES – MESSAGE FROM THE NSW PREMIER

The ‘Cover Our Firies’ campaign has been a significant moment for the FBEU. The expansion of NSW Presumptive Cancer Legislation will have a generational impact on NSW firefighters and their families. This achievement is the result of sustained campaigning by FBEU members, and I credit all those involved. This week, the NSW Premier, The Hon. Chris Minns, opted to address FBEU members directly, crediting the campaign and committing to work alongside the Union on future preventive measures to reduce cancer risk in our occupation.
