The next pay rise for permanent members will take effect on and from Friday 3 March. This is the latest instalment of the 17% (cumulative) wage increases secured by the Union since 2004. All wages and (most, but not all) allowances will increase by at least 4%. The exceptions are the wage increases of up to 11.4% for members at Firefighter Levels 1 to 4 following our successful negotiations in 2005 for the first stage (from Recruit to QF) of the new Public Safety Training Package.
