Draft State Development, Staffing and Response Policy

On the 11th February 2005 the FBEU State Committee of Management considered the Draft Discussion Paper: FBEU State Development, Staffing and Response Policy 2005 formulated with the assistance of the Country Sub-Branch and Retained Sub-Branch Committees. The State Committee of Management now calls for constructive comment from members as to the support or otherwise for the document. All comment by members should be forwarded in writing (letter, fax or e-mail) directly to their respective State Committee representative by the closing date of 1st April 2005.

To ensure both an expedient and thorough assessment of the draft discussion paper, in suggesting amendments, members are asked to quote the section together with an explanation for the change. This same process should also be used for the inclusion of any new sections that are identified. Members forwarding comment should include contact details to allow for questions of clarification from SCOM officials, if required.

This draft discussion paper has been developed as a ‘whole of brigade’ approach that recognises and addresses State Development, Staffing and Response initiatives both now and into the future. The State Committee of Management asks all members to co-operate within this structured system to allow worthwhile and valuable feedback on the draft discussion paper.
