Fire Station Closure Petition

Fire & Rescue NSW, the fire service for professional Firefighters, is proposing to allow 30 fire stations across the state to be temporarily shut down if the number of available staff at any given time drops below four.

Communities across the state will have their fire stations offline for unknown periods of time, with a response to any emergency coming from the next closest fire station, which could be over half an hour away.

We need your support to fight this proposal.

Please sign the petition, so we can show the NSW Liberal Government that local communities will not stand for any reduction in fire services.

Once you sign, hit the share button and let your family & friends know. Email or call your local Member of Parliament. Write a letter to the editor.

Make some noise – the Fire Brigade Employees’ Union is fighting this proposal, but we need the community to help us out.

Our Firefighters thank you for your support.
