D&D arbitration put on hold

May 29, 2002

Further to my notice of last Friday, the D&D arbitration proceedings which were expected to commence tomorrow, Thursday 30 May were today put on hold. Extended conciliation between the parties this week has resulted in considerable progress being made, and this in turn led the IRC’s Justice Marks to today recommend that conciliation should continue. The public arbitration hearings will therefore not commence tomorrow, and members who were planning to do so should not attend.

I apologise for this late notice, however it is a fluid situation at present. Further information as to the progress of our current negotiations, and on the conduct of future court proceedings will be posted to this website tomorrow afternoon.
