CODE RED LIFTED – CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINARY PROCESSES

Following the issuing of the Code Red regarding conduct and disciplinary processes last week, the Department sought a meeting to discuss our ongoing concerns with their conduct and disciplinary processes.

The parties met on Wednesday, and the discussion was positive. The Department committed at the meeting, and in writing, to undertake a joint comprehensive review of current conduct and disciplinary processes, with the aim of rebuilding a system that is timely, fair, and effective.

As such, the Code Red issued on 22 April 2026 relating to conduct and disciplinary processes is now lifted.
