PSTP deal confirmed (part 2)

Feedback indicates that numerous members found the table in last Friday’s notice ambiguous and/or confusing. This was probably due to the table’s 2nd column being titled “Before the Union’s  changes (ie NOW)”, which many took as meaning the total wages earned under the current progression/promotion system and the current wage rates. It was actually based on the total wages earned under the current progression/promotion system and next year’s (+ 4%) wage rates – our intention being to show the positive impact of these changes in their own right (and without the distortion of the already-agreed 4% general wage increases due next March).

The original Table is reproduced here below together with two new Tables which should help clarify the fact  that all members below the rank of QF, both now and into the future
