AMBULANCE ASSISTANCE CODE RED REMAINS SUSPENDED

Following on from Friday’s SitRep, I can confirm that the Department has acknowledged our correspondence sent on Friday. The parties will be continuing to discuss each of the issues we raised, and will consult fully.

As such, the suspension of the Code Red remains in place until further notice. We will be seeking an urgent meeting with the Department to progress this matter ASAP.

We will continue to update members as these discussions progress.

 

STATION SERVICE DELIVERY PLANS – REMINDER

Members may have received an email from Field Operations today regarding the development of delivery plans on SPS.

A reminder that participation in these delivery plans is entirely optional and that Senior Officers must not review or approve these delivery plans proactively, and can only manage the delivery plans if submitted.

This follows a Code Red on 1 July 2023 and the Code Red subsequently being lifted on 19 December 2024 with these conditions in place.

Any member whose experience with these delivery plans doesn’t meet the above expectations is to decline participation and contact the FBEU office immediately via the online form here.
