November 30, 2012The O’Farrell Government’s June Budget imposed across-the-board cuts to the public sector wages bill by 1.2%, with Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) being hit with a larger cut amounting to 1.75% – higher even than many clerical agencies.

The Union’s officials have this afternoon agreed to abide by these recommendations and accordingly, the bans and limitations placed on the performance of outduties and relieving duties last evening are hereby lifted, effective immediately.
