COUNTRY STAFFING AGREEMENT CONFIRMED

Further to my notice to the above Stations yesterday, I am now able to advise that the State Committee today concluded formal and final agreement with the Department for our Union’s country staffing proposal, as endorsed by the rank and file membership at the June Special General Meetings.

Accordingly, the 4 tankers de-staffed at 0800 hours this morning will remain so (the parties will now conduct further negotiations on the future location and staffing of these tankers). As previously advised, No 50 and 255 tankers are to remain permanently staffed on the 10/14 until further notice. A notice to all Stations will now be issued on Monday 28/9.
